Webmistress

Well, I am your webmistress here, mutsumi. Um, yeah... I just really spell my nick like that. :)

So, anyway, I started building webpages when I heard from a classmate of mine that we would be building a site in one of our subjects. I was already curious then on how a page is built so when she said that, I tried to find out as much as I can on the basics. A friend's friend got me the basics. He emailed it to me and I tried my hand on them and I got hooked! It became a hobby for me so... ^^

I learned most of the tags from that email, then I builded it up by looking through a lot of webpages. One site where you can learn the basics and some advanced ones is at Lissa Explains it All. I always go there when I need some refresher on the tags and when I found a tag and I'd want some explanation... Then there's Dynamic Drive for most of the scripts that I incorporated here...

For the design or layout style of the site, I surf alot around the net and I always see some style that I like. I try to incorporate that when I'm doing a new layout and find out the new tags and stuff that I see in a site. There are always a lot of good webdesigners out there and you can ask for their help. Through surfing, too, do I find out about new stuff that I can add on my webpages. It's always good to take note of the web address of those sites because I keep them as references. ;p
